Starter Black Label and Mercer Amsterdam teamed up to create the ultimate Luxury

sports-inspired collaboration supported by an authentic heritage.

Sharing similar influences, the Starter Black Label x Mercer Amsterdam collaboration encapsulates both brands' aesthetics and shared appreciation for American heritage sports, an approach which has produced a striking collection.

This limited-edition range consisted of a Premium Satin Starter Jacket, designed and produced

in-house by Mercer Amsterdam. This exceptional jacket is embellished with classic chenille-fabric patches on the front and back, giving it the utmost premium look and feel.The “AMS” patch on the back refers to the city of Amsterdam and the Starter logo treatment represents both brands in a unique manner. The varsity jacket is produced in a small family-owned factory and is fully made by hand in Portugal.

The second part of the collaboration consists of the iconic Mercer W-3RD silhouette, a classic representation of the Mercer Amsterdam DNA. The sneakers provide a hook-up with the same premium Satin material as the jacket and are finished with the finest chenille “AMS” patch stitched on the side. Furthermore, the sneakers feature navy gum-leather and suede details for a top-quality finish.

The last element of the collaboration consisted of the signature Mercer Amsterdam 100% Egyptian cotton t-shirt which incorporates the Mercer Amsterdam x Starter Black Label branded details.

The collection was initially released at a dedicated invitation only pop-up store in Amsterdam on the 26th of September; and lasted until the 28th, where the pop-up store was open to the public to browse and purchase the collection.
